A Little Bit About Me
Faith and values
I am a practising Muslimah, dress modestly by choice, and have studied my deen enough to know how to live in a way pleasing to Allah ﷻ. I follow the teachings of the Ahl al Sunnah wal Jama‘ah. I am #TeamMawlid 💚 yes anything to celebrate my love for the Prophet ﷺ 😌
Outside of prayer, Qur’an, and dhikr, sisters’ halal gatherings 💃🏻🎵 are my way of expressing my joy and gratitude for being a Muslim.
I don’t do physical contact before marriage. The photos on my profile are what I’m comfortable sharing for now, but I’m happy to do a video call once there is a plan to meet.
I am financially responsible. I do not have any debt and do not deal with riba (interest).
If you speak to me, you’ll find me warm and friendly. I have a cheeky, playful side and enjoy good banter, but I’m also reflective and emotionally aware. I value honesty, integrity, and kindness.
Family is important to me. I have a close and loving relationship with my parents and extended family, and I value loyalty 🤍
Interests
I’m happy being outdoors, as long as the weather isn’t too miserable 😅 I love hiking, camping, and faith-based retreats.
When it comes to travel, it’s not about ticking boxes for me. Makkah, Madinah, and Jerusalem are the places that call my heart. Any other travel needs a meaningful reason. I’m Kashmiri-Punjabi, and I love visiting these areas too. I appreciate my culture and heritage. I speak Punjabi and Urdu, as well as Arabic.
Education and work
I am a trained journalist and a qualified teacher, but most of my work has been in the charity sector, supporting people affected by forced migration and displacement. I have a strong sense of responsibility toward those who have suffered oppression around the world. Global solidarity and activism are important to me. I lived and volunteered in Palestine in my 20s 🍉, have worked closely with Syrian refugees in the UK and abroad, advocate for Kashmir 🍁, and have supported projects in Bosnia.
For me, work is not about money or titles. It’s about living in a way that allows me to face Allah ﷻ and say I was grateful, I did what I could, and I tried to help where it mattered.

What I Am Looking For
A practising Muslim man who has children of his own, as I am not looking to have any more, Alhamdulillah.
Someone who is genuinely open-minded, has self-awareness and is non-judgemental.
Someone who works for a living, understands the responsibilities of marriage, and can offer his wife stability, protection, and presence.
I’m drawn to intelligent men with depth, faith and warmth. Trust in a relationship matters to me above everything else. I believe love grows when someone is sincere.
A sense of humour and some wit and banter is always welcome 🤗 I enjoy good conversation, and people who focus on improving themselves rather than judging others 😌 🤍
